Training the next generation of conservationists — young people who will carry the mission forward long after us.
The Program
What It Is
Wildlife Warriors is Vivarium Culebra's youth conservation program — a structured pathway for young people ages 8 to 18 who feel called to protect the natural world. Inspired by the legacy of Steve Irwin and the Wildlife Warriors foundation he built, we've created our own chapter of that movement: hands-on, animal-first, and unapologetically passionate.
What Participants Do
Warriors learn animal husbandry, field identification, habitat assessment, and conservation storytelling. They assist with real animal care, participate in outreach events, and develop the knowledge and confidence to become advocates in their own communities.
Join the Program
Spots are limited to ensure every participant gets genuine mentorship and hands-on time. If you have a young person in your life who is passionate about wildlife, reach out to learn about the next cohort.
